This Privacy Policy explains how CoupleFit collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use our mobile application, website, and related services.
1. Who We Are & How to Contact Us
CoupleFit is currently run by Max Peters and Rachelle Sarkis, who are responsible for your personal data (the “controller”). Our company, CoupleFit OÜ (Estonia), is being incorporated; once it is registered, it will take over this role and we will update this policy with its details.

2. What Data We Collect
Account & Profile, Fitness & Wellness, Partner Connection, Support; device logs and analytics; app store subscription status; AI providers (pseudonymized).
3. How We Use Your Data
Provide and operate the app; personalize experiences; process subscriptions; communicate; improve and secure our services.
4. Legal Bases
Contract, Legitimate Interests, Consent, Legal Obligation.
5. Sharing
Processors (e.g., Firebase, analytics, RevenueCat, Brevo for our waitlist and emails, and Umami for anonymous website statistics), app stores, partner links, and where required for legal/safety reasons.
Website statistics
To understand how many people visit couple-fit.com and sign up for the waitlist, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service with its data stored in the European Union. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personal data that identifies you: we only see aggregated statistics, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, the referring website, and the type of device and browser. We use this based on our legitimate interest in improving our website.
6. Data Retention
We retain data as needed for the purposes described. Data may be deleted or anonymized upon account deletion; certain receipts may be retained where required by law.
7. Account Deletion & Choices
In‑app: Settings → Legal → Delete Account. Deleting your account does not cancel subscriptions.
8. Data Security
HTTPS/TLS, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.
9. International Transfers
Standard contractual safeguards may apply where required.
10. Children’s Privacy
Not intended for users under 16.
11. Your Rights
Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Portability, Objection, and Withdraw Consent where applicable. To use any of these rights, email us at support@couple-fit.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live.
12. Third‑Party Links
We are not responsible for external sites’ policies.
13. Founding Couples Waitlist & Emails
When you join our founding couples waitlist on couple-fit.com, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your partner's email address. We use your email address to confirm your sign-up (double opt-in), to send you a welcome email, and to keep you updated about CoupleFit's launch and early access, based on your consent. Your partner's email address is only used to link your accounts once the app launches, based on our legitimate interest; we do not send marketing emails to your partner unless they sign up themselves. We use Brevo (Paris, France), an EU-based email service, to store this data and send these emails. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our newsletters, or ask us to delete your waitlist data by emailing support@couple-fit.com. We keep this data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will show the new date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant, we will let you know by email or in the app.
